Yoga Nidra Workshop
This workshop will be a discussion on the theory, and exploration of the practice of Yoga Nidra.
What is Yoga Nidra:
A successful Yoga Nidra session is engaging, relaxing and extremely powerful. Not only does it take you into a truly wonderful state of deep relaxation, where you can let go of stress and anxiety, it is also the catalyst that can expedite your personal journey of self discovery and growth. It hands you the keys to the vehicle of your Self and asks “So where do you really want to go?” Thus giving you the power to shape the future you want.
In Yoga Nidra meditation we combine relaxation and guided imagery techniques to achieve a deep and yet conscious dreamlike state where we can begin to explore the interplay between our conscious and subconscious selves.
Unlike other meditation methods which are based on non thought or mindfulness, Yoga Nidra is deeply engaging and requires active participation. This means your mind is less likely to wander, and you can likely expect results much faster with Yoga Nidra than other meditation styles. You can see my full description of Yoga Nidra here.
