Donation Based Charity Event! International Yoga Day: 108 Sun Salutations.

To celebrate international Yoga day on the 21st of June Laurence and Marie will be leading an afternoon of 108 Sun Salutations. Balance, restore and reset your energies. Ignite your inner fire with an invigorating sequence this solstice. Suitable for all levels. There will be various rounds of sun salutation sequences, some more challenging than others. You do not need to complete the whole set and will be able to take as many or few breaks as you would like. Although this event is free to attend we are accepting donations which will all be given to the yoga based charity ‘fierce-calm’, which helps make yoga to refugees and other vulnerable groups.

All levels and abilities welcome.

Introduction to Ashtanga Vinyasa 5 lesson beginners course in Norwich

This course will serve is an introduction to the system of Ashtanga Vinyasa, the only yoga practice you need. It is intended for people who have never practiced Ashtanga previously and are curious to learn about this system.

There will be an introductory workshop where we will learn about the Ashtanga  methods of breath, gaze, internal locks, postures, and movement. We will then delve into dissecting the full primary series and cover the postures and their movements and possible variations. There will be a lot of information so please come with an open mind and a willingness to learn. we will then all practice the warm up, standing poses and closing sequence together.

The next four sessions will be led classes in which we will add more postures each week until the last session when we will go through the complete primary series. this can take up to 1 hour 40 minutes. You will come away from the course confident that you can attend a led primary series class. Welcome to the Ashtanga method.
