Wednesday Lunchtime Hatha Yoga Class in Norwich:

In a nutshell, Hatha Yoga works based on the idea that we can effect our lives in a positive way through working with our physical bodies. We go into stretches and hold them with correct breath so that we can develop our understand of, and strengthen the connection between mind, body and life force (Prana). In this way each posture, each movement becomes a meditation. We find that over time our bodies become stronger and more flexible, and our minds more at ease. Whilst this is fantastic, and is certainly useful in living a healthy lifestyle, it is not the end in itself but rather a stepping stone along a deeper spiritual path. This means that if we if we wish to take our practice further, we can use the springboard of the Hatha Yoga exercises to deepen our meditations and help us become more conscious, loving individuals in the world around us.

I have created this class aimed at beginner to intermediate students (though of course all are welcome), who are starting or developing their steps in Yoga. There will be lots of traditional Hatha postures and breathing exercises, interspersed with a little philosophy and deep relaxation and meditation exercises. So why not come and join us every week as we safely cover the basics and learn how to build and develop our practice in a fun and engaging way.

Both drop-ins and advance bookings are welcome.

I like to keep the classes fun and really endeavour not only to guide you through your practice but also to educate you about the reasons we do each specific movement or posture. My aim in doing this is to give you a practice that you feel confident doing on your own, anywhere, anytime. Sounds good right? Every Wednesday Afternoon, from 12:15 – 13:15.

How much does it cost cost:

£37.5 for six lessons when pre-booked, or £7.50 for a single lesson.


Beginner to intermediate. Although more experienced yogis and yoginis are are always welcome. Yoga is for everybody!

* Please note If you would like to buy a class pass for 6 lessons at £37.5 please let me know when you arrive in class. I will then book in for the following 5 lessons. If you know that you cannot attend any class and need to change any dates please email me directly. Each 6 Class Pass has 9 weeks validity from the date of purchase.

Please arrive early, especially for your first class as you will need to fill an intake form. You can fill out the form online before your first class by clicking here.

Bring some water.

Relaxation is done on the floor, please consider bringing your own blanket to keep you warm. Don’t worry if you forget, there are spares at the studio.

If you have your own mat that you’d like to bring that’s great, if not don’t worry there are spares.
